CKW Battlefield — Episode 3

Published on 22 May 2026 at 23:46

Previously on CKW Battlefield…

Ashley Amazon opened the night by issuing an open challenge and steamrolling Miss Mexico to stake her claim as the division’s dominant force. Yosuke Narita continued his cold, surgical rise with another decisive win, while Richard Blood out‑wrestled Roman Heidenseik and demanded real competition going forward.

Frank Tucker shut Boomer Singh up with a convincing victory, and the Style Council picked up a hard‑fought tag win — only to be blindsided and brutalized by the Edmonton Outlaws, who declared war on the entire division.

In the main event, The Hype fought through Louis Figo Manico in a high‑energy battle, then grabbed the mic and called out the Masked Grappler for a rematch at Long Live The King.

The roster is heating up. And tonight, everything ramps up again.

Tuesday, 28 January 1997 — Corpus Christi, TX

CKW rolls into Corpus Christi with a stacked night of action as we barrel toward Long Live The King.

  • Farrah Hesketh vs Reese Paige A high‑stakes showdown to determine who will challenge Ashley Amazon for the CKW Queen’s Championship at the PPV.

  • Puerto Rican Power vs Jake Sloan PRP looks to keep momentum rolling as Sloan tries to score the biggest win of his young career.

  • The Masked Grappler (c) vs El Bandido The CKW King defends his crown against the unpredictable outlaw in a match with major PPV implications.

  • Main Event: Yosuke Narita vs Richard Blood Two of CKW’s most technically gifted competitors collide in a match fans have been begging for.

All that — plus whatever chaos breaks out along the way.

Boomer Singh vs Roman Heidenseik

Roman comes out fired up, still annoyed about last week’s loss. He rushes Boomer at the bell, hammering him into the corner with stiff forearms. Boomer bails to the outside, trying to slow the pace, but Roman follows and slams him into the apron.

Back inside, Boomer catches Roman with a low kick behind the ref’s back and takes control, grinding him down with stomps and choking him on the ropes. Roman fights back with a big clothesline and a running knee, but when he goes for the Heidenseik Driver, Boomer slips out and rolls him up — grabbing the tights — for the three‑count.

Roman pops up immediately, shouting at the referee as Boomer smirks on the floor.

Before Roman can chase Boomer, Frank Tucker storms to the ring

He slides in and obliterates Roman with a lariat, then yanks Boomer back into the ring by the hair and plants him with a spinebuster. Tucker stands over both men, snarling, then picks up the Potential Title belt.

“You two ain’t contenders. You’re victims.”

Commentary confirms moments later:

At Long Live The King — Frank Tucker vs Boomer Singh vs Roman Heidenseik for the Potential Championship.

JD Morgan is backstage with a microphone, still fired up from last week’s post‑match attack. He’s pacing, focused, and clearly done with the Outlaws’ antics.

“Last week, the Edmonton Outlaws ambushed us after our match. I’m not waiting around for them to do it again. Tonight, I want one of you, either one of you, in that ring. Let’s see if either of you has the guts to face me one‑on‑one.”

Morgan drops the mic and walks away

Farrah Hesketh vs Reese Paige

Two rivals collide with a Queen’s Championship opportunity hanging in the balance. Farrah comes out aggressive, forcing Reese into the corner with heavy forearms and a snap suplex. Reese answers with sharp kicks and a neckbreaker, smirking as she taunts the crowd.

The pace quickens — Farrah hits a running knee, Reese counters with a spinebuster. Both women spill to the outside, trading blows near the barricade. The referee’s count climbs as neither backs down.

Farrah slams Reese into the apron; Reese fires back with a shove that sends both crashing into the guardrail. The count hits ten.

Double Count‑Out.

Neither woman is satisfied. They keep brawling until officials separate them.

Ashley Amazon steps through the curtain, slow‑clapping.

“Farrah… Reese… you two can’t even settle it between yourselves. Fine. I’ll take you BOTH on at Long Live The King. At Long Live The King i walk in as The Amazon and i walk out as Queen!.”

Commentary confirms immediately:

At Long Live The King —Ashley Amazon vs Reese Paige vs Farrah Hesketh to crown the first ever CKW Queen champion

Farrah and Reese glare at Amazon from opposite sides of the ring, both furious, both refusing to back down.

JD Morgan vs ???

Later in the night, JD Morgan makes his entrance, pacing the ring, eyes locked on the stage. He doesn’t know who’s coming — Vigilante? Tavare? Both? The crowd buzzes with anticipation.

After a tense pause…

Tavare Loring steps out, smirking, cracking his knuckles as he heads to the ring.

JD Morgan vs Tavare Loring

The bell rings and both men lock up hard. Tavare uses his size early, backing Morgan into the corner and hammering him with heavy shots. Morgan fires back with sharp forearms and a running dropkick that sends Tavare stumbling.

Tavare regains control with a big spinebuster. Morgan answers with a swinging neckbreaker. They trade momentum, neither man giving an inch.

Tavare swings for a lariat — Morgan ducks — Morgan Cutter connects clean.

JD Morgan scores the win.

Morgan rises, breathing hard, pointing to the camera as if sending a message to the Outlaws.......

......but Vigilante Hawke hit the ring, blindsiding him and stomping him down. The beating continues until Steve Flash sprints down the aisle, swinging a chair and chasing both Outlaws off.

Morgan and Flash stand tall, battered but united.

Commentary delivers the announcement:

“With this rivalry boiling over, CKW management has made it official: At Long Live The King — The Style Council will take on The Outlaws to crown the inaugural  CKW Tag Team champions

Puerto Rican Power vs Jake Sloan

Jake Sloan comes out looking shaken, constantly glancing over his shoulder after watching his friends in The Style Council battle it out with the Edmonton Outlaws. He tries to shake it off, but the distraction is written all over his face.

PRP immediately takes advantage, overpowering Sloan with heavy strikes and a big shoulder block. Sloan fires back with flashes of speed, but his focus keeps slipping — he hesitates, checks the entrance ramp, and PRP makes him pay every time.

A missed dropkick gives PRP the opening he needs. Spinebuster. Running splash. San Juan Rush.

Puerto Rican Power wins, with Sloan’s mind clearly elsewhere.

Figo Manico stands backstage in front of the CKW backdrop, towel over his shoulder, still looking frustrated from his recent loss. He’s trying to keep his composure as the interviewer asks how he’s feeling heading into the PPV.

Figo sighs, honest and fired up.

Figo: “Look… I needed that win. I wanted that win. I’m not here to be ‘almost good enough.’ I need to get back in the win column — and I need to do it fast.”

He starts to continue, but the crowd in the arena reacts as Eric Tyler walks into frame, slow clap, smug grin.

Tyler: “Back in the win column? Figo, you’re not climbing back up the ladder… you’re standing in my way.”

Figo squares up, not backing down.

Figo: “If you’ve got something to say, say it.”

Tyler steps closer, nose‑to‑nose.

Tyler: “I’ll make it simple. Long Live The King. You and me.”

Figo nods immediately, fire in his eyes.

Figo: “Good. Because I need a win… and you’re the perfect place to start.”

CKW King Championship: The Masked Grappler (c) vs El Bandido

This one is chaotic from the start. Both men try to cheat early — Bandido goes for a hidden handful of tights, Grappler tries to use the ropes for leverage, and the referee spends half the match fighting to keep control.

Bandido uses speed and trickery to stay ahead, nearly stealing the title with a roll‑up and feet on the ropes. Grappler answers with grinding holds and a masked headbutt the referee doesn’t catch.

Bandido swings for a loaded punch — Grappler ducks — kick to the mid section and a big Piledriver

Grappler covers for the 1, 2 and 3.

The Masked Grappler retains.

Grappler snatches his title and raises it high… but the celebration doesn’t last long.

The Hype steps out of the curtains. The crowd erupts, everyone remembers the challenge from last week.

Hype points straight at the champion.

“I’m still waiting for your answer.”

Grappler stares him down, breathing hard, clutching the belt.

A long pause.

Then he nods.

“Long Live The King… Mr Hype, you get your match.”

The crowd explodes as commentary confirms:

At Long Live The King — The Masked Grappler defends the CKW King Championship against The Hype.

Main Event: Yosuke Narita vs Richard Blood

Narita and Blood tear into each other from the opening lock‑up, both men wrestling with urgency and precision. Narita targets the legs with surgical precision; Blood answers with elbows, counters, and grinding pressure.

They trade near falls: German suplex from Narita — two‑count. DDT from Blood — two‑count. Crossface from Narita — Blood claws to the ropes.

The pace keeps rising — both men know they’re in something special.

Suddenly commentary cuts in:

“We’re running out of TV time — we have to wrap this up!”

Narita and Blood keep fighting through the announcement, refusing to slow down. They exchange forearms in the center of the ring as the bell rings mid‑strike. They topple to the outside and continue fighting before the ref final steps between them and breaks them up.

The match is officially ruled a draw.

Narita slides back in the ring, chest heaving, pointing at Blood. Blood steps forward, nose‑to‑nose, not backing down an inch.

Narita snarls:

“See you on Saturday.”

Blood nods once, cold and confident.

“Count on it.”

The crowd erupts as the show fades out.

As Narita and Blood stare each other down, commentary cuts in over the final camera shot.

“What a night here on Battlefield — and we are just days away from Long Live The King!”

The camera pans across the crowd as the announcers run through the PPV card.

“The CKW King Championship is on the line — The Masked Grappler defends against The Hype!”

“The Queen’s Championship will be decided for the first time ever — Farrah Hesketh, Reese Paige, and Ashley Amazon battle in a Triple Threat to crown the inaugural champion!”

“The CKW Tag Team Titles will also be awarded for the first time — The Style Council face the Edmonton Outlaws with history on the line!”

“And the Potential Championship finds its first holder — Frank Tucker, Roman Heidenseik, and Boomer Singh collide in a triple threat to determine the inaugural champion!”

"Eric Tyler and Figo Manico clash"

“Plus, after what we just witnessed — Yosuke Narita and Richard Blood settle it this Saturday!”

The final line hits as the logo fades in:

“Long Live The King — this Saturday night — don’t miss it!”

Fade to black.
